stock certificate

Has anyone ever heard of EL CID INTERNATIONAL? I have a certificate for 314,579 shares and can not find anything on it, I have sent it to a stock broker and they could not find anything on it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? Or how to research this more?

I did some hunting and couldn't find anything either.

Is there any location information on it? A year? ...any small print that could be used as a lead?

If a stockbroker can't find it then you may be out-of-luck since they have access to private industry databases used exclusively by brokerage houses. Not sure where you'd turn to next, it would be nice to know if it is worth something. Is it all possible that the certificate is a forgery or prank, considering the name and all?
