How can I check my rental history/credit history for free online. Really free though. Not one that has a trial period and you have to give your credit card info....one that is really and truly free!

i dont believe there is such a way to do this. the best answer i can give you is FreeCreditReport.com | Free Credit Report and Credit Score Online by Experian which gives you a truely FREE credit report to veiw once a year.
it does ask you for a credit card to verify your identity but it never charged me anything.

The link below is the government approved site for receiving your free credit reports. You are allowed one free report per year from each of the three agencies. Each agency will offer to sell you additional services. Just say no. You will never have to give a credit card number unless you accept one of their offers.

I recommend getting one report every four months. That way you won't have to wait a year to get another report.

As an added note, I don't know of any way you can check specifically your rental history online. In order for something to be on your credit report, someone has to report it. Places like credit cards and banks will probably be reporting (and checking) every month. But a landlord or property management company won't necessarily report anything.

Before I purchased my house recently, I rented for like 13 years straight prior to that, and not one iota of that is on my credit report.
