    Raising money for a trip?
Our school is going on a trip to Washington D.C. this January to watch the inauguration and tour D.C. It's a pretty expensive trip, and one of my friends has only paid half of the trip. They were supposed to get business sponsorships but they all bailed! Is there a way to raise about 1000 bucks in a couple months?

    Hi, skittlefrittle!

How exciting for you to get this type of opportunity! Now is a good time to start selling things that people might like to give as gifts for Christmas.

There are fund-raising companies that have representatives that go to schools to show people the products that they could sell to raise money. You could sell the products going door-to-door and also give the sheets to parents, for what people sign-up to buy, so that parents can take those sheets to work or other places they go, such as maybe clubs, etc.

As students, in order to get motivated to go out and sell, you could have a contest and the student who sells the most could get some kind of prize.

I wish you all the best!

    Thanks!
