People owe me money

Can i legally post a persons photo that owes me money?the money borrowed was not a few dollars it was $5000. And my old friend stopped paying me but i do have receipts from him when he paid me in his handwriting but that was over 10 months ago my only questions are can i post photos of him and put below the photo what he borrowed and will receipts work at district court for paying me back-thanks.

NO, posting a "wanted Ad" of this nature is not acceptable.
If you have PROOF that this debt is valid and owed then file a claim in the small claims system.

With a small amount ( 5000 fits the term small for courts) you can do small claims court. You can get a judgement against him, then you find his banks, and garnish the money, or find where he works and garnish the money

Sure you can and then he will sue you for invasion of privacy, defamation etc and the debt will be cancelled at what YOU will now owe him.

As noted, if he owes you money, take him to court, get a judgment and attach his assets.
