Loans/grants/financial assistance

Can I, being a felon get any form of financial assistance(loans/grants/etc.) from the government?? I'm in finacial dire straits, and virtually homeless, with no where to go.. I was reently terminated from my job, and being a felon, and still on probation, I get turned away from most every job that I apply for.. I understand that the economy sucks, but I really need some assitance.. Thanx... Joshua

Sorry, there is no grant money available just because you are a felon. If that was the case a lot of people would be eligible for grants. You'll just have to somehow get another job and try to eek out a living. You'll eventually get another job but it's going to take a lot of hard work to get one.

Hi, Joshua!

What kind of education, skills and training do you already have, please? You might be able to make a living being self-employed, depending on what you're able to do.

Thanks!
