You need to call your Social Security office and tell them just what you said here. Or you can go to their website -
Social Security Online and click "Disability and SSI." Why were you taken off of SSI? Has it been within the last six months? I ask that because if you were taken off in the last six months, it is easier to reapply - the time for reinstatement is supposed to be less than if you just applied for the first time ever.
