i need to come up with 625 dollars really soon plus i need alotta gas money and money for other things but i really need to pay off my attorney asap and my job isnt enough i am trying to find another job but i am not having any luck. any suggestions?
Okay, let's at least work on getting the ad concerning your clothing posted on hoobly.com. If you had a vegetable garden, I was going to suggest that you give some vegetables to your neighbors as a way to get to know them better.
What I was going to ask you to do while I was gone, was for you to put together your real ad on this thread, without putting any contact information in it, following the example that I gave to you last night. You can also just make up the names of the towns and cities in your ad on this thread.
Please do, really describe the clothing items that you have to sell. If you do that, I'll be able to give you some pointers as to how to improve on the descriptions.
I was busy moving into the home where I house and dog sit last night. Not much time for being online. I'll also be at the same home, tonight. Might be able to catch you for a bit later this evening.
can i get in any trouble since i had that thing on ebay and i lost it after they had already paid for it? i found it but now i dont understand how to ship it out or anything and i would like to just gi9ve them their money back.
Yes, you can get in trouble if someone paid you money for something and you didn't send it to them. Please stay away from eBay. Some people are experts at it and know all of the ins and outs of it and use it all of the time. Unless a person really knows how to use it, it's best to stay away from selling anything on it One thing that I really don't like about it, is that it costs money to use it. The sites that I suggest for you to use are totally free to use.
If you sold something on ebay, you should have contact information for the purchaser. You do, don't you? I believe that there should also be information on how to ship things that are sold on eBay on the site.
Please use the sites that I suggest to you to sell things. Okay? I don't want you to get into trouble!
I know how to get what you have to sell excellent exposure. You don't need to use eBay.
Yes, I realize you're not really paying any attention to me anymore... or at least you're not answering my questions and responding to anything I say. You are kind of in hot water with eBay, but I can help you deal with this in the best way possible, if you want to accept my help. It's your decision.
What happened with this? The customer paid you and you never shipped it? Did you contact them about it? You still have a transaction with this person and you need to get this dealt with.
Email your buyer and tell them you found the item and are still willing to ship it if they still want it. If you need help with the shipping end of things, I am still willing to help you with that issue. (It would really help if I knew exactly which auction it is. You're welcome to PM the item # or a link to it, if you don't want that info public. I'm an accountant -- we understand confidentiality.) You haven't responded to any of the questions I have asked you about it, but you need to clean up this eBay deal, and I'm still willing to help.
If they prefer the refund, that's easy to do. If they paid through Paypal, you can refund the entire amount through Paypal. You will get your fees back. (You won't get your eBay fees back.) If they want a refund, it will be better for you if you make the refund, rather than them filing a complaint with Paypal against you. If they sent a check or paid some other method, you have options of ways to refund them. (eBay doesn't care how you refund them.)
Theoretically, if it's still within 30 days of the sale you still have the option of shipping it. In reality, you should leave this choice to the buyer. (Shipping or refund.) The more they have a choice in the matter, the less likely they are to come down on you.
However, be aware that you have had the responsibility of this all along, once they paid you. Whether you will "get in trouble" will depend on whether the buyer turns you in or not. Apparently they have not so far??? That might be a good sign.
If you never ship the item, you can get turned in for a non-performing seller. That will be a black mark against you. In the short-term that will do you no harm and no one will see that mark. If you ship it within 30 days (I think that's right), you can't get the black mark, as long as you respond in a proper manner if they turn you in.
However, either way you can still get a negative feedback from the buyer. That is why you want to do whatever (almost) the buyer wants at this point. The more cooperative you are, the less chance they will neg you. Just be prepared that they may do it anyway. If you don't plan on doing anything else at eBay, it won't matter. (Keep in mind that if you buy on eBay, that feedback will still be there.)
The buyer could start doing funny things. You said they said your shipping charges weren't correct. I don't know if they were correct or if they're screwing with you. You're also welcome to PM me anything the buyer has said, to make sure they aren't breaking the rules either, or pulling off any shenanigans. While the vast majority of people on there are OK (really, they are), a newbie is a perfect person to take advantage of too.
I've sold on eBay, Amazon and Craigslist. eBay is a perfectly save and wonderful place if you know what you are doing. Clough is perfectly correct that you have to "know how to use it." I put different items up at different places depending on the circumstances.
I know you got ticked off that I said you shouldn't be messing with selling on there without knowing what you were doing. I'm not trying to be mean about it -- if I just wanted to be mean, I wouldn't be offering to help you. But hopefully you now see why I have that attitude about it?
