Project/Trade Finance

Could anybody tell me how project/trade finance department of a company works ? I am aware that it includes, cashflow projections, taxation, preparing financial statements and time value of money. I am trying to apply into various banks and finance companies but everytime my application is been rejected. I am relevantly qualified academically. But, I am unaware of the experience required in such a specialised field.
Can any be assist me please ? Thank you.

What is the exact job?

Normally in a job posting, they list qualifications that are required. Use their EXACT (or something VERY similar) words and say you have those specific qualifications (assuming that is, that you really do have them)

Tried all

I have tried everything. I have the relevant qualification but do not have relevant experience. I have an accounting background and not corporate finance. As far as interview session is concerned, interview goes very nicely but the basic criteria isn't upto the mark.
Thanks for your advice anyways.
