I have car title with no loans. Can I add someone to that title?

I am a Senior and own a car, free and clear. May I add my daughter to that tittle. If so, what is the cost? I live in Florida

This gets complicated, and does cost. Your best bet is to ask your insurance company, because adding her can get you a discount if she has a car and adds you, or it can add a lot to your premium, depending on her age and driving history. This is something that isn't usually done. Why do you want to do it? You have to re-register and pay that fee, and fill out a gift form to avoid sales tax. And stand in at least two lines.
