financial assistance for dog

My dog got out of the yard and was put in the pound a week ago and I have been trying to get money together to get him out but can't. In the meantime the bill gets bigger everyday, i have been looking all over but can't find somewhere to get financial assistance but finding nothing. If anyone knows where i can get assistance to get him out please let me know. I live in alamogordo new mexico and two places i found were only for other states.
