Also I have taken some loans from a place called tower loans they say that they report that you HAVE PAID to Transunion but every time I try and get a credit card or apply for anything they don't take transunion any recommendations.

You have to borrow money to establish credit, that is, buy a car and no one can refuse you that if you can prove you have had a job for at least three years at the same place. They like continuity. The loans that you took out were probably not big enough to make a dent and register on a credit report.

Do you have a car with a car loan ? Have you lived in the same place for a good period. As I say, they like continuity.

No I have tried to go to car lots and they would never put me in a car due to the fact I have no credit. So my dad bought me a nice one thank god cause I was driving a piece of crap cause no one would give me credit. One place said they would but they needed almost 4,000 down. I have had my job about 3 years and have lived in my house three years. Do you think I should try to take out a thousand dollar loan from some bank. My bank sucks I have been with them 7 years and they won't give me a thousand dollar loan unless I put a thousand in my savings first. I don't like my bank so I never keep my money there. I work as a teller at a check cashing place so I just cash it myself. Please help me some more if you can I am lost. Mother has no credit, so I have no one to co sign and don't know how to start credit cause she never did.

Oh and the little loans where only about 400.00 so no that probably doesn't help.

Yes, well the car loan idea is out the window and yes if you have a lot of money down then it is fairly easy to finance the rest. Have you tried getting a line of credit at the bank. Someone has to give in somewhere. I had no problem getting credit when I was young, but then I already money to burn and could put down big payments. Maybe your bank is right, start a savings account as they suggest. That could be a leg up to getting credit when you already have money in the bank.

A car loan will be your best option, but, you will need a down payment.

You could get secured credit cards, but they do little to improve your score.

Were it me, I would save some money for a down payment, and get a car, even if it meant
Getting something I was not really happy with, those on time car payments will do more for your credit score than any other type of loan with the exception of a mortgage.

Be careful though, don't go to a buy here pay here lot as they do not report to the credit bureaus.

    Good Luck to you!

You can get a secured credit card, one where you put money in an account and they issue one for that amount. You can also put money in the bank and do a personal loan.

You really should start your own post, and not hijack this one!

Statutes vary by State, what state do you live in?

Again, please start a new thread.
