Can I give my 401K to my church?

I have an old 401K at my last job and they are telling me I have to move it. I thought about an IRA, but I want to know if I can 'give' it to my church's building fund. I have read that I can make them the beneficiary on the plan and can have it when I die, but I would like them to have it now. Of course, without any tax burden to me or the church.

What do I need to do, if I can do this?
