38 year old single mother of 2

Hi...I need some help. I am a 38 year old single mother of 2. Another one on the way, in Miami Fla. My mortgage is behind. I lost my job because my car caught fire, and is unusable. No one will hire me because I am pregnant. My ex pays child support, but not as much as he should because he has a nasty habit of filing false battery charges against me. The lawyer says it's cheaper to just leave it alone. I have bills I can't pay, no car. My property taxes arew not paid, nor my ins. I went to public assistance, and they can't help because I get child support. Please...what should I do?

Get a better lawyer, or try to keep the child support coming in by yourself with a book from www.nolo.com . Get a job close by and take public transportation (I know its a joke in the US) to work or walk. Keep looking for a job. Present yourself well. Ask your family to help out if you have one.
