Hi, I found some applications on internet that can be installed to the PC and mobile phone, that allows remote control of your PC from your mobile phone connecting to IP via mobile network. Ok, that's great, but I would like to know is there anything that allows other way around, that I can access mobile phone controls from my PC using internet or wireless network connection. It would be great if you could access someone's mobile phone from your PC over mobile network and, for example help configure his settings manually. Many thanks for answer if anybody knows does something like this exist.

I do not believe anything like this exist. If there was, it would likely be vendor specific or very limited. First, the end user would likely have to install an application of some sort on there phone to allow access. Second, different phones have different 'operating systems' so to develop on that would work across multiple platforms would be difficult. Third, it is inherently difficult to find out what IP your phone uses. The only way I have found to do this is to use the webbrowers and visit http://whatismyip.com.

If the end user could install an application, and knew how to used the web browser, they could likely configure their own phone without help.

There's a product called ImageExpo that works on Symbian devices and allows the screen of the phone to be viewed on a desktop. But it doesn't allow for configuration or changes to the phone. You'd likely find a slew of other such limited vendor-specific utilities.
