Nope. He has to provide the records to prove that you did.
But if he had a "cop" call me and tell me that the "cop" himself called the number back and somebody answered the call and nobody was talking. And I just don't want to go to jail over something I didn't even do. Her dad told me that if I violate the protective order then he will have me put in jail. And he is paying off the cops so I don't know what to do about this.
What makes you think he is paying off the cops? The fact is that he has to prove to the court that you violated the order. He needs to produce proof that you purchased the phone and used it to call him. Unless he can produce that proof a judge should not rule in his favor.
Do you have an attorney?
Agree, there is no way for you to PROVE you did not call someone. He has to prove you called him, He has to prove it is your phone, and he has to prove it was you that called.
But if you are not talking to him, how do you know he is doing all of this.
