Aint it the truth?

*Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock** (MADE IN JAPAN**)** for **6am**. While his coffeepot**(**MADE IN **CHINA**)** was perking, he shaved with his electric razor** (**MADE IN **HONG KONG**).**He put on a dress shirt** (**MADE IN **SRI LANKA**), designer jeans** (**MADE IN **SINGAPORE**)** and tennis shoes (**MADE IN **KOREA**).** After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet**(**MADE IN**_ _**_INDIA_**)** he sat down with his calculator** (**MADE IN**_MEXICO_**) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch** (**MADE IN**_ _**_TAIWAN_**)** to the radio** (**MADE IN**_INDIA_**)** he got in his car** (**MADE IN**_ _**_GERMANY_**)** filled it with GAS from** **Saudi Arabia** and continued his search for a good paying**/_ AMERICAN_/**/ J/**/O/**/B/**.** At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking his Computer (Made In** **Malaysia**), Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals** (**MADE IN **BRAZIL**)** poured himself a glass of wine**(**MADE IN **FRANCE**!**!**)** and turned on his TV**(**MADE IN **INDONESIA**),** and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in**.. **A**M**E**R**I**C**A**.....*

OK, I have counted everything here in my office to see if anything is made in America. Three things: My Fender Stratocaster guitar, a ball point pen and maybe these rubber bands. The rest of this junk is made every where but America.
How many items in your house are made in America?
Can Americans still produce good products or not?
Have the Corporate giants sold us out for cheaper wages or what?

Yes, so many things are no longer made in America/Canada, but rather some country that has cheap labour.

Sad really, but unfortunately it is a product of the reality that we live in.
