Working on L1(spouse not working, still in India, L2 not stamped) how do I file tax

Hi,

I reached US on 13 Oct 2007 on L1 visa. My wife and daughter are still in India and would be getting L2 stamping done in March 2008 to join me by end of March 2008.

Can I show my wife and daughter as dependents while filing tax for (a)2007 (b)2008 since my wife is not working and I support the family in India.

Regards,
Hemant
