On what grounds can you request to get a different probation officer?
My PO is really a person from hell, I have not done anything wrong for over a year and I wanted to file a complaint on her 3 weeks ago, because she has me on these hideous rules. When I went to check in she found out that I stopped at the main office for a complaint form and made up this ridiculous story about how I had a police contact and never reported it. I never even had a police contact. It was a lies and she put me in jail for 2 days on a PO hold. What can I do? Also what way can you go about getting off of probation with a early release?

It is very easy, now, get an attorney and make them prove there was a police report, that should be easy.

But of course most probation officers are tough, and if you think they were tough now, they are all buddies, and you complained and are going to make troubble for one of thier friends, do you have any idea what to expect when you go back into that department

The only problem is that I can not afford to have a lawyer, except for a public defender and you knjow how far that gets ya. Do you know any other ideas?

To get out of where you are now, an attorney is about the only choice,
you will get a hearing before the judge, there they will have to produce the evidence, most likely the PO is calling some police friends of his to make sure there is a report found somewhere.

Probation is supposed to be tough and you are not supposed to like it; that said, if she lied on you and is making your life miserable why don't you use a little imagination and make life difficult for her. Do everything she asks of you and document your every moment away from the PO's office paying special attention to any witnesses you may want to use in the future.

Bottom line is that unless she releases you from probation your only way of getting rid of her is to move and to request a transfer. Cordially of course. You can move if your job requires it.
