Special Court Martial - Larceny

I have a question about a previous court martial. If somebody were found guilty of Larceny (article 121), and conspiracy, in the Marine Corps, what would that transfer to in the civilian world?- Would the civilian side be able to access that on a background check? I believe this was a Special Court Martial back in 2003-?-
