Revoked license from one state cause another's conviction.

I was convicted of a DWI in GA the year of 2006, misdemeanor. In 2007 I decided to move to VA, surrendered my license March of 2007, and went through the process of living in two states. I received a citation for running the red light in GA, in which, the officer stated my VA license was revoked. I went to the VADMV, which stated their DMV has a compact law with GA, so I have to comply with their state's obligations. I proved to VADMV with documentation from GA state court that the case was successfully completed. Finally, after all the run around and no reference information such as law code or legal documentation stating their procedures are being handled correctly, Richmond, VADMV informed me to get my license. I want to sue. I was arrested in GA because of the revoked license, I had to pay a bond fee, I had to get family members to take off work to drive me to VA, I had to have a chauffeur drive me to different DMV locations in VA, I was stressed out, etc. What should, could and can I sue for and whom? I deserve my bond money back.

Nope, If your GA license was valid at the time, GA would have shown it valid when they ran the DMV and NCIC reports on you from VA.
So the only reason they would have shown it still not valid, was if GA was reporting it. If anyone is at fault it would be the GA court that was to re-instate your license ( if they were suppose to)

Thanks Chuck, if you don't mind me calling you Chuck. However, I am aware that VADMV handled the situation wrongly. VA gave me my license back, but now I want to sue for them revoking my license in the first place, but want to know how should I go about getting it done and what should I file a law suit under?
