I am an F-1 student since I came to the United States in 2001. Last year I filed the 1040-NR form. Since I am a resident for tax purposes now, should I file Form 1040? Should I attach the 8843 form (it is usually attached only to 1040NR and 1040NR-EZ)? I have two other forms: Form 1098-T and form 1042-S in addition to my W-2. What am I supposed to do with those forms?
I would be really grateful if you can give me some clarification on that.
