Should workers comp have to pay?

Back on July 14 2006 my boss's dog attacked and bit me in the face. It took 40+ stichs to patch it up. Have been on disability for the time however the dog owner refused to pay bills stated it was work related. My Dr. says he does not want me to go back till I see a Psychologist and plastic surgeon. The work comp ins. company has taken responsibility for the injury after they sent me to an AME. How ever up to that point they had not paid any thing to me. Should they have to pay back wages from time of injury? Any help would be grateful.

If the dog bite you at work, it wan be workers comp, and if they accept it, yes they will pay you your pay while you are off, contact the workers comp company and ask them when you are going to get paid.

Make sure a official complaint has been filed with them,
