My divorce was finalized about a year ago. My ex and I made a verbal agreement that if he sold the home he would give some proceeds to each of our 3 adult kids rather than to me. This was not stipulated in the divorce settlement as I trusted him to keep his word if for nothing more than that I was not "taking him to the cleaners" myself. He has since said he will not give them anything. The home is up for sale now. Do I have a right to try for an amendment to the settlement? I am in Hawaii.
