How can I get helpful Free Legal Advice about my nuisance neighbours, they continually make noises in the middle of the night and at different time of the day, I am finding it impossible to sleep without being woken up, the noise sounds like they are drilling for oil.
I am a Pensioner and this is making me physically and mentally ill, I have reported them to my Local Council and was asked to go to mediation which I did, but the neighbours didn't attend. Since then the Council have not done anything to help me at all. After the mediation I had the word daubed on my front door,and they are now saying that water from my washing machine is going onto their property, I have had it checked by a plumber and was told it is impossible for water from my washing machine to go onto their property.
Please can you advise what to do next as I am feeling suicidal right now.

Sounds like you're in a NO win situation... However, for your own mental health, you need to DO something...

Here in the US, most cities have noise regulations, and most cops will make your neighbors adhere to them... But, it sounds like you're NOT in the US, and I wouldn't think your town has noise laws... So, you're not going to get any relief from your local officials, as you have already found out...

EVEN here, where the cops will help, if you had a neighbor who wanted to retaliate against you, he could. The cops can't stop that stuff...

So, you need to do either one of two things... You need to stop being the victim, and instead of being intimidated, you need to BE the intimidate. You need to make your neighbors understand that screwing with YOU ain't a good idea.

Or, you need to move. I know, I know, you shouldn't HAVE to move... You, as a pensioner, don't really still think the world is fair, do you?
