law suit/receivership

If a person has a medical malpractice suit filed and court date cancelled due to receivership of Insurance Company. What does one do?

Was the Court date CANCELLED or POSTPONED - ?

You still have an action because these are "claims made" policies as well as an action against an individual or facility - with or without insurance. Your chances of collecting, of course, are much higher when there's insurance.
