Landlord and tenant laws

[font="Arial"]My lease started in November of 2006. October 12, 2007 my place became condemed when the state inspector came out and inspected my mobile home. He found numerous things wrong with the place, some that was a safety issue between life and death. There was faulty wire on the outside that was used and was only was supposed to be used inside and not underground. The vent to the dryer was left directory under the mobilehome, it had nowhere to go except under the home which was building up on the wires under the home. It also had lots of water damage and the place was sinking. I didn't know all of this moving in as a single mother, I just thought that people were suppose to do the right thing. He has refused to give back any deposits and I had to get out and nowhere to go. I was told by the inspector that the landlord put my life and my daughters life in danger intengenally. I wasn't expected to get out as fast as I did, and w didin't have nowhere to go, so I had to go to my moms, it has been difficult for us and alot of expense so I hope the landlord pays for making us suffer, I have like 130 pictures that I have already sent the attorney proving that it should of been condemend years before it was rented to me. Also the landlord did nt follow North Carolina code. I'm taking him to court through legal aid, I have no money to hire an attorney so I hope I have a good case. Do I have a good case? but if anyone knows anymore about this please let me know.
Thank you

If the landlord put you in danger and you seem to have proof of that you have a good case.

You will need a copy of the report that was done on the property, photos would also be very helpful. And most likely the inspector will have to be called to trial.
