while my car was parked at a shopping centre it was bumped by another vehicle,the driver of the vehicle did not leave any details,I got cctv footage from a petrol station
nearby showing the incident,this vehicle stopped at petrol station before it bumped
my vehicle,I can see vehicle leave the petrol station and park at the shops parking
area,I drive in and park my vehicle in a parking just across from the vehicle that hit my car,was in shops when my car was bumped. I can see the vehicle reverse bump my vehicle and pause for a second and drive off
I can see the registration number partially but cant see it 100% clear in cctv footage
but Hv seen a vehicle matching the vehicle in the cctv footage and from what I got from
the registration in cctv footage matches in what I could make out,I gave this info to
the insurance company and they dont seem confident they could prove that it was that
vehicle,but are still following it up,Also reported accident to police.

people cant just get away with this,it cost me money to fix my vehicle and my insurance monthly payment has been increased and I'm very angry,What can I do?

Hire a PI to follow up witht he evidence and locate this person, File a law suit against this person.

I can understand your anger.

As you have said, that the insurance company is still following it up, there is still the possibility that the identification of the vehicle could be proved.

Also, you did report the incident to the police. I am wondering what the police have done or will do.

It sound like you have done everything that you can do right now.

Maybe someone else here might have some further ideas.

Fr. Chuck has presented a couple of good ideas. But, there is the risk of spending more of your own money and maybe not getting it back.

However, you can add court costs to a lawsuit to be paid by a defendant and maybe even the private investigator fees as well as any costs incurred because of filing the lawsuit.
