The honest answer, your po can find out but it's not likely. He can find out if he checks up on you while you're supposed to be home at a certain time. Your po can call you and make sure you're home. If you get pulled over in another county and your probation information pops up, you'll be asked for a travel permit, which you won't have. You'll get arrested and your po will charge you with a probation violation. The fact that you mentioned that you want to travel could give him the urge to check up on you. If you think the consequences are worth the risk then it's all on you.

If your PO says no, then you violate your probation. Which could send you to jail. Is that worth "having a blast"?

You must be on very tight probation, I normally have never heard of it so tight that you can not leave the county where you live. Normally you can't leave your state.

If you used an attorney I would have them review the terms of your probation.

Actually most probations that I've heard of, have a policy against leaving that county. Although this is the first time I've heard that a probationee was denied to travel to another county. Sounds like his probation officer may be the strict one or whatever he was charged with was something worth denying travel.
