I was evicted while having no lease and Wasn't residing at the property

Ok I apologize for this long explanation but it's a must know. I was living in this house had a lease for 1 yr. My lease ended in june i stayed at the residence from june til october. I moved out in october giving the landlord 30 days notice with my last months rent. At that time my boyfriends aunt wanted to take over the property so with landlords permission he agreed she could take over. Mind you I had no lease at this time. Well 5 months go by ive moved to my other place which is in another unit of the same landlords property lol. I happen to look on the computer under courts and my name pops up that the landlord and took this matter to the court and i have eviction on my record now. I never received any papers of any type about this or anything. I very confused on this situation is this legally to evict me when i didnt live there didnt have a lease and he was excepting rent from my boyfriends aunt for this property? How do I go about this?

The issue is "take over" you should have merely given notice and allowed other person to give their own deposit and sign thier own new lease.

If they served this other person as representing your rent?? You are gong to have to take them back to court and have this overturned, you should hire an attorney for this

ok when she took over he was going to give her a lease to sign but then he decided not to because of her rental history but told her as long as she pays her rent that she may stay. So under that i asumed I was out of everything. He had excepted rent from her from oct till mar then when he decides he doesnt want her there anymore he sayd the only way he could legally get her out is put an eviction on me cause i was the last one there that had a lease. Now how crazy is that. Im just unsure on how I prove to the courts that i was not residing there other than all the utilities in my name were cut off and put in her name my address changed. What more can i prove? I dont have any idea what else I would need?????????????
