Car accident statue of limitation

When is it too late to file a law suit agains an insurance company if you cant settle your claim in the 2 years allowed? Can it be the day after the two years?

Your profile doesnt say what state you are in ? It depends on the law in your state. Any attorney can give you an answer or you could look it up yourself probably by using Google search or visiting a library -- just be sure you are reading the statute correctly. And to be sure, it might be best to simply call an atty.

I'm in Nevada. I actually ended up calling an attorney and it is the day of (2 yrs later) NOT the day after the two years. But, I lucked out because I made it to the court that day and was able to file my complaint/lawsuit on time. I really appreciate your help though.
