Hi
I dont know if there is any UK content here but, I need advise. basic story ..... my mother who is 79 as become unsafe to be left alone (falling) she as savings and a house for Sale...she now as to go into residential care or nursing care.
problem is the lcal goverment take all her savings, pensionsand money from house sale. Whilst we dont object to the money from the house going to her care or savings in part. what we do object to is that her money would soon be swallowed up by these care costs. Is there anyway that we can keep some money back to provide extras or her benefit.

Thanks John
