From my experience as a convicted felon and a college student, convicted felons still qualify for federal financial aid (dependant on income guidelines) and student loans. I currently have $15,000 in student loans.

To apply for a Pell grant go to fafsa.ed.gov

Good luck

Tz

I'm curious though...what about a drug possession charge? I think I read on the FAFSA application that a possessions charge would disqualify you?

Hello jc:

Don't ask - don't tell!

The attempt to punish offenders like this is the most stupid thing my government ever did. Ok, not the stupidist, but right up there.
