Driver's License

Hello everyone, My name is Sylvester I am from Chicago, a new comer to Atlanta Georgia
I need a drivers license in Georgia, my license was suspended in Chicago illinois.

Georgia will not issue you one untill your suspension is over in Illinois.
If you go to the DMV in Atlanta ( I will pray for you) make sure you have a birth certificate, proof of residence ( lease or letter from power company) and they will have a question form to fill out.

You should go visit them anyway and find out thier exact procedure.

*** There used to be a office near the Kroger off of Prior st that was not as busy as many of the others normally.

The systems are "probably" linked to keep people from losing their License and going to another State.

Someone recently posted the same thing, Pennsylvania to Georgia - and the computer picked up on the person and they were denied. And then Pennsylvania DMV was notified.
