I have a job in an health facilty..i had to be finger printed..thus 4 times as they were not readable.After the 4th time they were done at the trooper barracks in olean,ny.thus they still came back not readable.They i assume did a background check which came up with a prostitution arrest in Troy,NY..I never never been there nor resided there.WHEN i CALLED THE DOH...they said rudely THAT I wa and finger prints do not lie...if they are not readable how can they just assume these alligations...and the middle initial was a ''B''..which mine is not ..can you give me any advise..I'M at my witts end,stressed out and tottaly upset with this..when i ask id this could effect future employment she rudely said yes...they are your finger prints.

People when arrested use 100 names, so if the person arrested for a crime was June Brown, the name means nothing, they match up people by fingerprint, To do a proper check, they normally scan the print and compare it against the others in computer, then they are checked by hand afterwards, If they could not use the fingerprints they may have ran a known by name search, in with any simular names are listed. It is nromal for a criminal to be known by and use dozens of names.

You need to first get a good set of fingerprints ran, and have them checked, if they come back to this other name still, you will have to hire an attorney in that city to file a motion to have this cleared up.
