Credit Card Judgement

My spouse and I recently received a "Citation"..ie judgement from prior unpaid cc dept. I live in the state of TX - as I understand the law, the court c/not place a lien on my property..Homestead State..This prior dept is 5yrs old and will expire off my c report in 2 yrs..financially, we are unable to pay..we were served with an order to appear - do we have to abide by the order?...or can we simply ignore the order?

Never ignore an order to appear. You're already in a situation you don't want to be in: you can make matters worse by not appearing.

Are you positive that they already have a Judgment against you? This takes going to court to get...

Go appear and just be honest about your situation. They can't put you in jail or put a lien on your home, so don't sweat it.
