BC statute of limitations

I was sued when I was younger for an assault. Do I owe that money forever or do they have some time span to collect. I live in BC.

i think you will owe that money forever, its not a credit card that you can file bankrupcy on, its judge order, its like not paying the IRS you will be in debt until you pay them off

Hello C:

In the US a judgment lasts for a certain period of time up to 10 years, and they can be renewed. But they DO expire. I dunno bout you guys is the great northern wilderness.
