21 day car title law

I recently bought a 2005 truck and the 30 day tag is about to expire I call the dealer and they told me that they do not have the title yet.I have been told that they had 21 day to title the truck or they had to give me my money back.If this is so what do I need to do to make them take this truck back?

Never heard about it, it may be your local state law. Call the court clerk where you register your car and ask them. But it is not uncommom since they are dealing with goverment clerks, and it is not unusual for people to have to get an extention on thier temp tag while waiting on the orginal tag to get issued.

I do know that there is a $10,000 fine for issuing another temp tag.

Fr_Chuck agrees: obviouis your laws vary from here, it is nothing to go to the court house and get the tag renewed for another 30 days.
