Thumb Throttle V. Twist Throttle

Hello,
I'm converting my bike to electric (yes, i have checked the laws etc.) and i have the choice of a twist throttle or a thumb throttle. Which is better, I'll be riding it 16 miles a day on the open road.
Thanks!
