The best you can do is go on line to Amazon.com and see if they have a book on silver service ware. Is there a hallmark on the very back of one of the pieces, should be located, say on the spoon, just before the bowl of the spoon on the bottom. This is probably how the antique dealer recognized the maker. In England, they all had their own trademark imbedded in the silver. |
