Hello All,
I am a recent home buyer with a well problem.There is a significant 'sulfur'smell to the water and I am told it is due to large amounts of iron in the water(and there is!!!).
I have been looking at various sites and have read information on disinfecting the well itself.This process begins with putting bleach in the well head.The problem is this.I have searched the property and there is no well head coming out of the ground.I am told that I have a shallow well.What other alternatives do I have about disinfecting the well????
