    Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan light
Can anyone tell me where I can find a replacement bulb for a ceiling fan I purchased at Home Depot a (hampton bay). The bulb is a mini spiral fluorescent with the writing on the side being--PLS13 Warm White, it has 4 pins. And is the push in type.

    Thanks

That is a common bulb sold at Home Depot and Lowe's. Does your Home Depot not carry it?

    Hello
No Home Depot or Lowe's I've been in carries that type. They carry the screw in type... but not the 'push in' type

I think the screw ins are taking over. Trouble was, there were too many different designs of the plug ins and they weren't compatible. You might find a ''U'' tube design that would fit and have the same wattage rating. You may also be able to install a conventional bulb socket and use a screw in.

I'm surprised to hear that about those bulbs.

Here are some folks on the net selling that bulb:

    Thanks, Rickj & labman
Rickj, Thanks for the net listings. I was able to locate 6 stores in the area that... at least their web sites say they carry the bulb and ballasts. I'll let you know how it goes.

I tried for a couple of hours trying to find something on the internet and came up with nothing but frustration.

So once again,, thanks for your help.
