Chopping Boards

I Was Wondering If Anyone Knows Whether Or Not I Can Use Oak As A Chopping Board As I Have Some Left Over That I Was Thinking Of Using. I Don't Know Whether Or Not It Is Hard Enough.

Oak is very hard but some species of oak is also very porous so I am not sure about making a cutting board out of it. Maybe you should google and see what others say.
