periods after delivery

hi,

this is leena jain here, i'm new to this site.
i have a query, i'm really worried please let me know as soon as possible.

i delivered a baby girl vanshika on 27th may 2006 and at that time i bled for 1.5 mths but since then its almost 11 mths i havent still got my periods, i want to know if this is normal. i'll be highly obliged if you let me know as soon as possible.

Firt let me welcome you to AMHD. This site can be addictive.

Now, let me ask if you are breastfeeding. If so, it is common not to get your period while nursing. If not, it is still not uncommon as it takes a while for your hormones to bet back to their normal state. However, it would be in your best interest to visit your doctor for a full check up if you are not nursing to make sure that this is normal for you.
