    Why do I feel like I'm losing my mind?
    For the last few months I feel like I am about to lose my mind. Not the, "im gonna lose my mind and go on a kiling rampage," but I feel like I am no longer going to have control of my actions and thoughts. The best description I could give is I feel like I'm about to be possessed. Another feeling I have is I am about to faint or pass out.
    I do not take any medication, I sleep approx 6-8 hours a night, but I do wake up on average about 10 times a night.
    I have never had these feelings before, I have never had mental, physical, or spiritial issues before.
    I have recently gotten married, purchased a home, and we are expecting a baby. I am a business banker and work 40-50 hours a week. I don't want to use these reasons as an excuse, but could it be related to stress or sleep deprivation?

    Stress and sleep deprivation can be terrible things.

    Whether that's the cause or not you really need to speak to a professional about ANY random thoughts that disrupt your life.

    Have you spoken to any Physician about this - the faintness, the problems sleeping, the random thoughts?

    There are certainly big changes in your life right now as well as a high pressure job so you very well may simply need to talk this out and get help sleeping.
