Spotted tongue?

I have small blackish/brownish spots on my tongue, near the end the sides. Recently someone commented that this is odd. The spots have always been there, and they look like individually discolored tastebuds. Does anyone know what they are? Do freckled tongues exist? Does anyone else have a weirdo tongue? Help!

Yes, freckled tongue(s) or spots on your tongue-botched together freckles exist, I have one. Just like people are born with two different color of eyes one blue and the other green, freckled tongue(s) is not an issue, no big deal. No different then having them on your face. Someone says what's that, you say you were born with it, that's it, don't think about it. Nobody is perfect in skin tone or made perfectly in this world, would you rather have a life threatening disease. Your special, you have a freckled tongue. If someone thinks it's odd, there not your friends or it's there opinion, some people think freckles are sexy, I think freckles are sexy, anywhere, it's spicy.

I have similar spots, my mom too and they have been there for as long as I can remember, i think they are gretaly genetic, no need to worry. they are painless too.
