    random shortness of breath
over the past few weeks I have be experiencing periods of random and frequent shortness of breath and tightness in the chest- like I can't get enough oxygen in my lungs and take a satisfied breath that fills my lungs.
it happens at any time and I could just be sitting down doing nothing and it could start. It started happening very rarely but recently has stared happening a LOT more frequently. Sometimes I'm struggling to breath so much I have to hyperventilate to get by breathing back to normal and I can't make my breathing better by yawning either. I'm 16 years old, exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet so its not cause I'm overweight or something like that. My friend said I should go to the doctors to get it checked out but id like to get some opinions before I decide to go or not in case its nothing .
thanks in advance for any helpful answers :)

And I would expect your parents have a doctors appointment set up this week?

    Hi, loulou111!

Yes, you need to see your doctor. But, I would like to ask you if you're a nervous type of person who might also feel anxious at times?

    Thanks!
