for the past 8yrs ive suffered from sweating in the nite, this isnt a little sweating, youd have thought that id wet the bed, then i wake up very cold, ive tryed having less bedding, but this doesnt seem to work.
It doesnt happen every nite, it seems to do it for a week or so then stops then starts again.
The thing is both my brothers are the same. Im fit, i work out from time to time eat healthly. and im the right weight for my height......any ideas?

missfizz, I am sorry you are having this problem. There can many reasons for nightsweats. If you aren't going through menopause, then you need to seek out a doctor. He/she needs to do a complete family history and work up. This isn't something that should be ignored. Please make an appointment with your physician. In the meantime, here are a couple of links for you to read. Start preparing a list of exact symptoms, what you have eaten when this occurs, the temperature in the room you are sleeping in, basically anything that you can think of that might be helpful to the doctor in diagnosing your condition.
