Pain in back

Hello,

For about two weeks now, I've had a pain in the middle of my back. I work two jobs, so I figured I was just doing to much, and needed to take it easy for a bit. For the last week though, the pain will get really bad, then all of a sudden, I can feel the middle of my back go numb. It'll then stay numb for about an hour, then it will start to hurt again, and just keeps going through a cycle like that.

I'm curious, if this is something I should see my doctor about, or if maybe I should just go to a chiropractor?

Thanks for any advise!
