You are gonna have to at least try to ice that water up real good, if you can mash the cubes and make them really smaller it'll make the water taste cooler faster, the colder the water the better it taste, you can add just about any fruit to water, about 1/2 oz and that will help, but use real fruits. And squeeze them, and add the rind.

Oh yes, oranges tastes really good,, as a kid we'd add the juice of a couple oranges and alittle sugar we called it orangeaid, but any fruit helps, but really really cold is the answer!! try raspberries and strawberries also, very light, sweet.
They make sugarless packets of flavored powdered mix (that I LOVE, and drink all the time) that can be added to your average size of bottled water. They are pretty handy, and alot better for your body than drinking a few sodas everyday (I can't say much, haha, soda is good too).
