Do I need to go to the emergency room?

Hi. My regular doctor has told me to keep track of my blood pressure for the last 3 weeks because it is unusually high (i am only 21 - not overweight, non smoker, currently on a diet to try to reduce sodium intake). for the last 2 days, the bottom number has been between 102 and 107. my appointment with my doctor isn't for another 2 weeks. do i need to go to the emergency room? is there a point at which i should be going to the ER?

Are you talking 165/102 or more like 102/60. If it is 165/102 call you doctor and tell him you are on your way into see him.
